Mike Daisey: on Corporate Accountability

Mike Daisey has a bone to pick with Steve Jobs.* Doesn’t matter that, recently, the latter resigned his role at Apple. Mike still believes there are serious ethical, if not legal, improprieties taken by Apple in the manufacturing of iPads, iPhones, MacBooks, heck, all electronics.

In this episode of The High Bar, master monologist Mike Daisey, joins host Warren Etheredge to raise a toast to and raise the bar for… corporate accountability.

*Since taping this episode of The High Bar, Mr. Jobs passed away. While many have memorialized Apple’s core, some have practically canonized the man. In this bonus video, inspired by Mike Daisey, I ask all viewers to re-evaluate Steve Jobs’ legacy.

  • I’m still a Mac-o-phile, but a little less enthusiastically so. Great interview, as always, Warren.

    • Thanks, Larry. I’ll still buy Apple products, just less frequently. That said, I am drooling over the new iPhone. now, if only I could get rid of AT&T.

Your name is on the guest list (plus one!) for Wednesday night’s show at Town Hall with John Lithgow. Mention The High Bar and The Warren Report.
